Gras Publishing's letter to creatives everywhere

Do not be afraid to write what you know.

Do not be afraid to paint the unknown.

Do not be afraid to let your true-self show.

And do not be afraid to take that leap.

Into the unknown world of storytelling.

Do not be afraid to follow the beat of your own drum.

Let the adventure grasp your mind, let the romance engulf your heart, and let the story ideas flow, from the tips of your fingers into the digital or physical world.

Creativity is a wonderful gift, never forget that.

And, at times, when you feel weak, always remember that your creativity is hiding inside you. Your passion for writing, your love for color, your love for stories, is a gift that is meant to be shared with others.

There will come a day when someone: a family member, a friend, a significant other, a co-worker, or even a stranger will challenge your creative streak.

They will question you, they will make you doubt yourself.

Can you continue on this creative path now that you’ve entered adulthood?

It will be difficult, but yes, you can. Creativity knows no bound, it knows no age.

It just is.

It is music, it is prose, it is melody…

It is art, it is imagination…

It is Creativity.

So, remember this, our creatives:

“The Creative adult is the child who survived.”

So, keep it up our artists and may your creativity always shine.
